Panos 2013 fake Streetsigns is a collaborative project that takes the work of artists from around the world, in the form of fake road signs, and turns the streets of Lyon, France into an enormous gallery without walls.
The round red and white signs look enough like real European traffic signs that you might take them for granted, but weird enough if you notice them to make you stop and think.
This project has a delightful sense of humor, lots playful absurdity and a wonderful scale.

Ce projet collaboratif réunit des artistes du monde entier qui s’expriment sur de véritables faux panneaux de signalisation, et font de la ville une immense galerie à ciel ouvert. Ces panneaux ronds rouge et blanc ont l’air assez vrais pour passer inaperçus, mais ils capteront à coup sûr l’attention des passants les plus curieux. La ville de Lyon soutient ce projet dans le cadre de sa candidature pour devenir la capitale européenne de la culture 2013. L’inauguration de l’exposition aura lieu le mercredi 3 septembre, 5 rue Pleney Lyon 1er
